The start of something very gay...

Greetings friends.

Here I join hands with the geeks of the world, and take my first pigeon toed nerd steps into dweeb oblivion. I have started my first blog and there's no going back.

The purpose for this "blog" (shudder, how I hate abbreviations) is to update people on my trip to India with my work. For now, I will have to keep it an absolute secret from my work friends. Mainly so that I can talk crap about them behind their backs, while we all share a good laugh at their expense.

This has got to be the most reasonable, non invasive way for me to chronicle my trip. This way, nobody will get those super long emails fueled by homesickness and a quad espresso from the euro internet cafe your world wandering friend leaves you when he's out in Europe and you're stuck working as a temp for assholes. The kind of email where you open it and it's so dense and giant that you know that if you tried printing it out, it would take a couple rounds of restocking the printer. I will not burden you with that kind of email. I will write about my experiences here and if you want to read about them, please do. If not, well, I'll never know. Will I?

So this is it. I'm going to hit "publish" and this will go out into cyberspace. Cool, I guess. I hope you enjoy reading. I'll sure enjoy having someone to talk to. It will be weird and lonely the next three weeks. And, from what I hear, I'll have loads of free time.
