Hey all. I just noticed that my last post was from like a year ago. That's not a good thing. Doesn't do much to bolster readership. So, let's try this. If I can write consistently in this thing for a good couple weeks or so, I'll start telling people to check it out. Until that point it's hush hush. My words are secretly locked in this hidded, long forgotten URL.

A couple big pieces of information to pass along.

First off, I am 99 percent sure that I have been awarded the next Barenaked Ladies video. I can't officially say as I haven't signed a contract (and even that doesn't always guarantee you anything) but I had word from Pierre, a head honcho at Nettwerk yesterday. He called me and said that they all loved the treatment I wrote and that we're ready to move forward. They just need to see a budget and production schedule. I'm tickled pink. In high school, I was the world's biggest BNL fan. And while I've moved to other territory in my musical development--mainly toward wierd techno and crap like that--BNL has always held a ferm place in my heart. Back in the days when you only really had one CD in your car at a time, BNL was always in rotation. I even have an autographed box of Macaroni and Cheese that one of the guys bit on stage at an in store in Cherry Creek, CO.

The big drawback of the video is that they won't be able to come out. The label wants to pump out a couple cheap vids that don't require the band. I'd wrestle a bear to get them to come out, though. So if any of you out there have a bear, please email me.

The second big piece of info is that I'm heading off this Saturday for my 10th year reunion. Super freaky and weird. We'll see how things go. I've fantasized about this for a long while. Fantasized that I'd do a three month mad rush of situps and protien shakes and just shock everyone. Every girl I had a crush on will bow down as I walk past. That type of crap. Yeah, that will most definitely not happen. Or hasn't happened. The most I can hope for is to be recognized by people and to be able to remember other people's names.
